All of them will likely be back, and although Disney hasn’t officially confirmed it, Menzel hinted that they’ll all be back – even though she doesn’t know anything about the movie yet.
“Honestly, they teased us, and I have no idea. They do not show you a script. They do not show you anything,” she said in June 2023 while speaking to Billboard.
There are probable returns from Sterling K Brown as Mattias, Rachel Matthews as Ryder’s sister Honeymaren, Jason Ritter as Northuldra member Ryder, and Ciarán Hinds as Rock Trolls leader Pabbie.

How does Frozen 2 ending set up a Third Movie?
Anna and Elsa head to the charmed forest outside of Arendelle. To learn why a mysterious voice has been calling Elsa and to stop the enchanted spirits from destroying Arendelle.
It goes out that back in the past, there remained a battle between Arendelle soldiers and the people of Northumbria who lived in the forest, essential to the forest being blocked off from the rest of the world.
The story is about Anna and Elsa discover that their parents are on their way to Ahtohallan to learn the source of Elsa’s power when they remain shipwrecked. Anna and Elsa find their parents’ ship in the enchanted forest and study that their mother is Northuldran.
Moreover, their grandfather was responsible for the conflict and created a dam in the forest intended to weaken the Northuldran people. To correct the wrongs of the past, Anna realizes she needs to break the barrier to free the forest.
Elsa remains frozen in Ahtohallan, looking for the voice, a memory of her mother. Elsa develops the “fifth spirit, ” the bridge between the magical and human worlds.
As we all know, a bridge has two sides, and Anna is the other. So, Elsa stays in the forest and becomes Queen of Arendelle, confirming the two kingdoms live happily ever after.
The arcs remain set up in Frozen. Sending on the producer’s promise that the two movies would tell “one complete story.” Elsa has now entirely recognized her magical side. And Anna has created her place in the world.
Who knows what the threequel will remain about at this stage, but Gad said the movie would only happen if there “were a reason to exist,” like with the sequel.
“I don’t know when there will be a Frozen 3. That is way above my pay grade,” he told PopCulture. “If there’s always a story worth telling, I am sure that Jennifer Lee and the incredible team over at Disney Animation will tell that story one day.”
